The Schefflera Arboricola features a single or braided trunk and tree-like clusters of leaflets, which have been likened to umbrellas, wheels, and octopi! You can help it retain its foliage by placing it in bright light and spacing out waterings. Sized to ship best, our large Umbrella Tree arrives with room to grow as it adapts to your home’s conditions.
Water: Every 1-2 weeks, allowing soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.
Light: Thrives in bright indirect to medium indirect light.
Pet-Friendly: This is not a pet friendly plant.
Air-Purifying: Schefflera has glossy and sturdy oval leaves that almost look unreal because of their waxy shine. Their plus point is that they soak up nasty toxins like benzene, formaldehyde and toluene. So like palms, they are a great natural air purifier.
